Assignment Details
-
16-week initial contract (13-week renewals)
-
Full-time Schedules
-
8 or 12-hour shifts available, depending on the facility
-
Rotating Weekends
-
Opportunities across North Carolina’s leading psychiatric and behavioral health facilities
What You’ll Do
-
Provide compassionate, hands-on care and assist with activities of daily living
-
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL’s)
-
Maintain patient observation levels as ordered
-
Use therapeutic communication to support patient stabilization
-
Support a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
-
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
-
Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care
-
Perform additional duties delegated by and completed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Requirements
-
Current CNA certification
-
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
-
1+ year of recent inpatient care experience
-
Ability to pass required compliance screenings (background, drug screen, competencies)
