Assignment Details

• 16-week initial contract (13-week renewals)

• Full-time Schedules

• 8 or 12-hour shifts available, depending on the facility

• Rotating Weekends

• Opportunities across North Carolina’s leading psychiatric and behavioral health facilities

What You’ll Do

• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and other assigned clinical data 

• Maintain assigned observation levels and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment

• Use therapeutic communication to support patient stabilization and coping

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care and assist with activities of daily living

• Monitor and report medical, emotional, behavioral, and social changes to the RN

• Assist the RN with patient intakes, interviews, and ongoing assessments

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and safety documentation

• Ensure patient care areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked

• Transport patients to off-campus medical appointments as needed

• Perform additional duties as delegated and supervised by a Registered Nurse

Requirements

• Current CNA certification

• BLS certification (American Heart Association)

• 1+ year of recent inpatient care experience

• Ability to pass required compliance screenings (background, drug screen, competencies)
