JOB DETAILS
- 16-week initial contract with 13-week renewals
- Days & nights available with every other weekend required
- Obtaining vital signs
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living
- Maintaining level of observations of patients as ordered
- Use of therapeutic communication
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date patient records
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Other duties as delegated by and completed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
REQUIREMENTS
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a hospital setting
- Direct patient care experience within the past 12 months
- Successful completion of required screenings, including background check, drug test, and competency evaluation
